Double Trouble

Boys will be boys

Archie got caught paw in the act 🙂

Love how Archie goes in for the big kill LOL 🙂

Latest on Archie- Slow progression the ulcer is still there, but slowly going down. Lots of drugs still we just have to have weekly vet check ups and monitor in case drugs stop working, but for now all is going the right way. Only shame is now Insurance money for this issue has been used up, so now costing Craig and I, however Archie is worth every penny to get better xx 🙂

Oscar gave me a very rare treat and sat on my lap. Guess who got jealous 🙂

Love our new ornament we ordered from Mollie & Alfie’s shop last week. Do you think it looks like Oscar? 🙂

  1. The boys are having some fun with that Christmas tree and the ornaments! Poor Archie’s little eye still looks sore but we’re so happy that “so far so good” with the meds and treatment. I think the boys are in the Christmas spirit!! Love the new ornament Stella did for you…..it’s adorable!

    Hugs, Sammy

  2. Still not out of the woods yet a very long recovery period 😦

  3. Boys! I’ve learned from experience, don’t let them get photographic or video evidence of your naughtiness. ~Ernie

  4. Ooh I love the new ornament! I accidentally left the chair too close to the tree, and the ribbon (we have a ribbon instead of garland) was manhandled. Cats! Ellie

  5. Toke a long time for my Garfield’s eye ulcer too. Hope it goes away soon. We are sending purrs and hugs to Archie. They sure are having fun with those ornaments. Such cuties. Merry Christmas to you.

    • How did it clear Sue? 5 weeks now and still around 😦

      • We had to try many different meds and it was a year of treatment. Garfield also has Herpes in his eyes so this can come back. Finally my vet(she did much researching)for a place that compounded meds into eyedrops and that is what finally got it healed in about 2 weeks after use. We used Cidofovir. I am in US so not sure what you can get over there. It sounds like what your doing is working for Archie. It just takes a time to heal. We had many vet visits too. We were going weekly for many months but; Garfield’s were extra bad and he had both eyes with ulcers and herpes. Much trial and error to see what worked. I really feel for you cause I know what you and Archie are going through. Just hang on. It will get better. Have a blessed Christmas.

  6. kittiesblue

You all are so lucky to have a tree with low hanging ornaments that you can bat off and play with. Sorry we have been missing lately. Sending purrs and prayers to Archie. Ho, ho, ho, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  7. I mean bells and balls and paper and packages… What do they expect??

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

  8. Pawkisses for a Wonderful Christmas and all the best for a Happy, Healthy and Magical New Year 🙂 Little Binky and Granny ❤

  9. What a pretty ornament Michelle!! It DOES look like Oscar & him snuggling on your lap is a Christmas miracle, lol….
Oscar sure did get caught red-pawed so to speak…he is such a fighter that boy…
Prayers he will make a full recovery. I KNOW how weekly vet visits go 😉
    Merry Christmas to all.
    Love Sherri-Ellen & Siddhartha ❤ ❤ ❤

  10. First I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! That ornament is adorable! Wonder why that one fuchsia bulb facinated the boys so. Loved the videos! What a hoot seeing Archie give the crabby looks 🙂 Glad his eye is getting better. Will continue POTP and keeping him in my prayers.
    Marty and Mom

  11. Looks like Christmas was a big hit over there. Archie and Oscar got right into the playing. That red bauble is certainly resilient. Archie’s eye is definitely a big hum bug….it looks like it hurts. He does seem to be improving slowly my friend. Oscar is a cutie…sitting on your lap Michelle.

    (((Shoko)))

  12. Haha love double trouble! Glad to hear that Archie is doing better, even if it’s slow progress. The vet costs are unbelievable 😦

  13. Pleased to hear that Archie is on the mend. Sorry to hear about the vet costs, they sure do mount up 😦

  14. I am so sorry to learn my buddy Archie is still struggling with his ulcer. And bummer that the insurance had a cap on it. I got just a teeny bit jealous last night when Sage came to bed with Mom L and me…I was starting my night off on the foot of the bed (then I move next to Mom L later)…and just as I turned around, there was The Kid Sage, all snuggled next to Mom L. I watched her breathe for a bit, then I let her have a right smart claws in smacky paw on her butt! Teach her to take MY place with Mom!

  15. So glad that Archie is getting better but I wish that eye was healed up all the way.
Purrs that 2015 has this happen really soon
    Looks like some fun
