Moggie Monday – A crazy cat lady and sheep stories

Purrs! Welcome back to Moggie Monday, and this week we’ve found a heart-warming tale of a lovely lady who is helping our feral friends in Boston.
A self-confessed ‘member of a small, rag-tag, passionately committed, largely invisible and, yes, possibly unhinged, army of men and women who tend to street cats all over Massachusetts,’ Joni Nelson’s story featured in the Boston Globe this week.
On her rounds of the streets, Joni feeds and provides temporary homes for abandoned cats or those which never had a fur-ever home; giving them vaccinations and flea treatments, and even having them spayed and neutered.
She’s been doing this invaluable work for ten years – and has taken some 176 felines off the streets, feeding hundreds more.
