So Buddy how did you come to your forever home?
Ah was livin with a kid who did not giver me any kinda lovin. Ah waz totally againstz havin any kinda contact with hoomans after diz. Well da kidz dad he waz a good man fur-sure. Da kid waz movin and not takin Buddy. Da dad jus happen to be werking where my Dad, Pete, waz and he seen da cat rescue poster in Pete’s cubicle thingie. Dey werk for over 2 month ta find me a home but no luck fur an 8 year young cat fella. Pete sayz he will take me in. Da kidz dad met Dad Pete on Mew Yearz eve at 9 O’clockin. Since den Dad callz me hiz NY Date. MOL. When we get home ZIp ah jump onna shelf and hide. No one seez me fur a month. Ah hid good. Dey hear me banging durin da night. Finally ah peek out. Da rest is historee. Yessir!

How did you get your name?Mah name waz Buddy. Dad said “Buddy you my new Buddy.” Buddy Budd for short.

How do cope with the other fur balls in your home? Do you have a bestie? Um, little az pozzible. Timmer iz mah furend. We play and run and wrassle. Der iz one guy ah like ta WHACK! Dat iz Toby. He real stuck up houze panfur. I teachin him mannerz all da time! HAH!

Are you close to your human (Dad Pete)? have you got a special bond? We get alongz gud. Ah love mah Dad and sleep next to him every night. Ah lak to hold hiz arm in bed while he read night bye stories to uz. Ah protect mah Dad while he sleepin.

What is your average day? Morning Home Made Chicken treat an breakfast. Sit wit Dad afore he werk. After werk more Chicen treat and dinner. Play time. (ah join in sometime but Dad will play wit me special in da bedroom cuz ah not social like) Relax on couch wit Dad and bug him fur taste his treat.(dat hit-er-miss dependin) We all get a couple few tasty dry treats afore bedtime. We each havva spot onda bed and Dad gives em one at a timez. Lay down fur story time and beddy bye. Yep Yep!

Your favourite treat? Hmmm. Ah like any kinda treaterz. Dad make us gud Chickhen Treatz and dem crunchy onez gud two!

Who is your super hero? Dad. We all rescue kittyz and dat takes a super kinda person.

Tell us something new about yourself that you have not shared before? Um, er, ah,.. Well ah went onna date. Ah went wit Timmy and Einstein ta Cat Scouts and danced wit Dora. We both shy so it werk out gud. Ah gonna see bout seein her more, Yessir.!

Any advise to other moggies out there you want to pass on? If ya feral or needin a home never give up da hope fur a future of love. Ah live long time wit none. Never thinkin ah worth it. Then, lak miracle ah have lovin home. Ya nevfur knowz what may be roun da corner.
