A hectic and successful trip to the vets…
Whoever invented the phrase dog tired clearly had no idea how busy yesterday was for Mum and I.
Yes, it’s Archie here, taking a very quick break from a well deserved cat nap to tell you all about what we’ve been up to this weekend.
It may have been hectic, but yesterday was a great day for two big reasons: I got the all clear from the vet on my eye and Mum got a nice, big donation from them towards her running charity.
For those of you who don’t know Mum is running the Seville Marathon in two weeks time for Alfie Bear’s Journey, a charity in memory of Alfie Thomas which aims to raise awareness of childhood cancer.
You can still sponsor Mum at her JustGiving page – go on, click the link and get your paws moving over there now.
Right, your back. Purrrrfect!
Anyway, during our visit to the vet yesterday they kindly gave Mum a cheque for £100 towards Alfie Bear’s Journey.
So a big furry thank you to all at Companion Care Vets for their generous donation.
But good causes weren’t the only reason we went to the vet.
I had to go in the “cage of doom” and see Pavel the vet yet again. It has been more than two months since I was diagnosed with my ulcer.
But did you hear the good news in that last sentence – yes, I could SEE Pavel!
The ulcer is gone… and I was given the all clear.
Which left me feeling like this…
For a little while at least… now I’m cat tired.
Time to catch 40 400 4,000 winks!

SOOOOOOOOOOOO happy that you got the all clear on the eye! Isn’t that wonderful? I know it was awful for you AND for your Mum going through the eye ulcer issue but it’s cleared up and that’s all that matters now. How grand the vet’s office donated money to the cause your Mum is running for. The race in Seville will be fun too as your Mum can pester Mr. Leo!!!! HAHAHA
Hugs, Sammy
