Moggie Monday: Big whiskers and a kitty with a funny crunch
We don’t know about other cats, but us three moggies all have very different ways of eating.
Archie used to scoff his dinner down without it touching the sides; but as he’s got older he has become more of a gentleman and often finishes last.
Oscar is THE messiest eater in the world. Most of his food ends up outside of the bowl, on the floor, over his face or spat out across the kitchen.
Henry, meanwhile, will often take his food out of the bowl -particularly when it comes to treats like chicken – and eat it off the floor; sometimes growling at his brothers if they threaten to encroach on his lunch.
But none of us gobbles like a turkey like this little lady.
The three months old is up for adoption at Orange County Animal Services and has made an effort to really stand out from the crowd.
Watch the video below and you’ll soon find out why she has been named Turkey…
And talking about cats who suit their names… did anyone see the story of Whiskers this week?
The two-year-old has 12 inch whiskers spanning her furry face – but no home to go to.
She is being looked after by the Cats Protection charity in Somerset after her previous owner could no longer look after her.
We bet this cute kitty has already been snapped up, but if you want to see the full story click below…
So that’s it for another Moggie Monday look around our favourite stories from the www – world wide whiskers!
And make sure to pop back and say ‘meow’ all this week: we’ll be meeting another fur friend of the month and launching our special Easter competition.
Plus, it’s Oscar’s 7th birthday on April 1 – PARTY!
