Moggie Monday: Meet a couple of great doggies
Yeah, we know, it’s called Moggie Monday – but our regular surf round the internet can pretty much include anything with paws.
And this week we found two doggy stories that we thought you might like.
Our first waggy tale is the result of a rather unique interview from BBC Radio 4.
It is all about Battersea Dogs Home and the uplifting story of a very talkative Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Frank.
Have a listen to the clip below and see what you think…
We also came across this story on Facebook. Amazing!…
A dog risked its life to save a litter of newborn kittens from a house fire in Melbourne, Australia.
Leo, a terrier cross, had to be revived with oxygen and heart massage after he refused to leave the kittens during the blaze.
The fire fighters who revived Leo said he would not to leave the building, despite thick smoke, and was found guarding the litter of kittens in one of the bedrooms.
Fire broke out at the house overnight. A woman and her three children, and the family’s other dog, managed to escape, but Leo would not flee the fire and was found not breathing next to the kittens.
Fire fighters rushed the dog and cats to safety and managed to revive them all.
