Oscar dodges his operation
Good news on the ‘Animal Hospital‘ front, paws crossed Oscar seems to be getting better.
Part of being such a prolific patroller is that Oscar likes to guard his domain and keep everyone safe, but it does mean he’s always getting into scrapes and scraps.
His latest injuries saw him covered in cat bites on his back legs and paws.
The vet wanted to operate, but Oscar had already eaten that day so he couldn’t go under safely.
Instead he got some injections and was confined to barracks for the night, which meant a nice night up cat sitting for Dad!
But it seems to have done the trick. He’s running around like a kitten again and the wound on his back paw is healing up.
So Oscar. Please. No more fighting!

Well worth purr-using we think.

1. Thomas O’Malley (The AristoCats)
2. Cat (Breakfast at Tiffany’s)
3. Blofeld’s Cat (James Bond series)
4. Sassy (Homeward Bound)
5. Mr Bigglesworth (Austin Powers)
6. Puss in Boots (Shrek series)
7. Jones (Alien)
8. Tiger (Over The Hedge)
9. Figaro (Pinocchio)
10. Treacle Jr (Treacle Jr)

Our favourite has to be Puss in Boots:
Jill: [dangles Puss over a canyon] Is it true a cat always lands on its feet?
Puss in Boots: No! That is just a rumour, spread by dogs!
And hands up if your cat does this…
But we can’t believe there is no mention of such classic cats as Alex the Lion from Madagascar, Bagheera and Shere Khan from The Jungle Book or the brilliantly evil Mr Tinkles from Cats & Dogs.
