Poor Oscar – he was quite brave and I hope he relaxes during his confinement and heals super fast. I’m sure he’ll be happy to get the collar and drainage tube out and when that wound starts healing he’ll sure love extra face rubs cuz it will be itchy!! I’m just so happy he’s alright……bless all of you because I know this was a VERY scary thing to happen for you all. We hate to see our “kids” hurting.

The boy is doing ok this morning he has been eating and drinking and now finally he has shut up so I am hoping the drugs have kicked in and he is sleeping :-). Oscar can MEOW for the world LOL x Just happy he is home and making very good progress 🙂

Nacho had a vet trip last night too. Thankfully its not too serious and should get better quickly. Sending all our love and healing hugs to him and hoping he isn’t hurting too much.

Cloro was asleep in a plastic bag, he heard Oscar’s cries and came rushing out to see what the matter was. He was so distraught I had to cut the sound. Hope all is well now.

Oh my goodness, that had to be one rough, scary fight! You’re a tough boy, Oscar. We’re so glad that nasty ol’ cat missed your eye though, that would have been even worse. You’re going to have one heck of a war story to tell your buddies though! 😉 Sending you Daisy snuggles and many, many positive wishes for a purrfect recovery.
So glad he is home and has begun the healing process! Archie is so sweet, Archie certainly was concerned. Oscar is a brave boy. Sleep will be good for him to heal. And tuna.. 😀
oh my. purrs and purrs for speedy healing. I worry about my outdoor panther family. My former feral, Oliver boy, seems to think the neighborhood belongs to him and is always starting fights, and judging by the wounds, he often doesn’t win the fights. I fear someday, he will come home looking like Oscar did. 😦 Best wishes for swift healing – purrs

WOW, it looks much worser than I thought! Poor Oscar. 😦
It is so good that he got treatment right away. Dad worked in ER and he says they would come in 2 or 3 days later because they were partying. No help for them until plastic way later. Oscar got the right surgery right away and I am purring he will be much better in a week or so.
Dad has the inflatable collars for us. We like them better but they do not work for all.

Oh Oscar… another cat did THAT? MOUSES! I’m so glad that it wasn’t any closer to your eye than it was. It must hurt so… Bet that nice doctor gave you some stuff to help with that. Yup, I bet he did.
In the meantime, I see you have a cone. Take my advice, buddy. Don’t try to escape the cone. I did after my operation and Ol’ Peepers here has never let me forget it. The cone is to help you mend. I understand that… NOW.
I’m purrin’ up a storm for you, buddy. So are the other members of my fur family. We’re all purrin’ and purrin’ and purrin’ for you. ALL TEN OF US! That’s a lot of purrs.
