Meow and the world meows with you: How Henry gets his way…
Meow! Henry here – and that’s just what I’ve been doing today.
Meow-ing. A lot.
Why? Well ever since I was a little kitten I’ve loved, loved, loved watching people work.
I spent days as a kitten watching my Grandad build a new kitchen, and I always like to oversee Mum and Dad if they are gardening.
So today when Mum was washing the windows at the front, I wanted to be there too.
Problem was, next door were taking their BIG doggies for a walk and I got scared.
Mummy had to take me indoors in case they came back.
But that meant I couldn’t be with her. Without my supervision who knows what would happen to the windows!
So I stood by the front door and screamed my little lungs out: ‘Mum, let me back out with you!’ Meow!
But Dad took me upstairs instead, and he was just sitting on the computer. Boring…
So I jumped on the windowsill where I could look out the front and watch Mum.
What else to do, but to give her another shout. Meow, meow, meow!
But she wasn’t listening still, so I had to run downstairs again to the front door. Meow, meow, meow!
Eventually Dad gave in. I can twist him round my little paw! I was outside, watching Mum.
What a paw-fect outcome to a busy day!
