Our mog-nificent travelling bucket list
This week Mum has revealed her top five travel destinations on our other blog, Naked Eye Travel.
Mum and Dad are always off travelling, so we thought it was about time we came up with our own travel bucket list.
It took much pondering, but we have each come up with our top three travel destinations…
In at three – CATterick:
The in-thing these days is the stay-cation, which is great because it has the word CAT in it.
As does Catterick in North Yorkshire, so what better place to have on our Moggies Bucket List.
In at two – CATmandu:
OK, so Archie tells us that the capital of Nepal is actually spelt Kathmandu, but we’re not going to let a small thing like that get in the way of our travel plans.
On the subject of Catmando, who remembers the ginger tabby who was joint-leader of Britain’s Official Monster Raving Loony Party from 1999 to 2002, along with his owner, Howling Laud Hope.
He was one cool cat!
And in at number one – Egypt:
They may have a few problems at the moment, but historically the people of Egypt sure do love their cats.
Wild cats in Ancient Egypt preyed upon the rats and other vermin that ate from the royal granaries, and earned their place in towns and cities by killing mice, venomous snakes and other pests. They were worshipped by the Egyptians and given jewellery in hieroglyphics.
Check out this ancient puss who we think has more than a bit of Oscar about him…
