Henry’s travels
Henry decided not to come home the past night/day, so mum went out with an ipad in hand
Enjoy 🙂
Mum does have a cold so apologies for heavy breathing 🙂

Wow, Henry is really, really a bad boy. Our mommy would be in a panic if we wandered so far away. Doesn’t Henry have a collar and tag with his name and address? We all do. Or is he microchipped? Well, we are so glad he’s home safe and sound, even if he did get a little wet. Really great post. Loved seeing the countryside and hearing your narrative. Hi Henry is microchipped :-). I have never put a collar on my moggies as I have seen a cat strangled by one as it tried to get through a fence. An image that still haunts me to this day x
What an adventure! And eeeeeeewwwww to getting wet!
Henry seems just like Rascal! Quite the explorer lol
He certainly is my biggest worry out of the three 😦 x
Henry, you are one naughty Dood..Love the video Shell, when you shouted out Dinner, Mollie jumped up..LOL Have a wonderful Monday and hope the cold goes soon xx00xx
Mollie and Alfie
Cheers Stella I feel a lot better this morning and even went for a 2 mile run around the estate to help unblock the sinuses 🙂 x
The BBC has done a great series of posts and programmes on how far our dear moggies travel. Henry would have been an ideal candidate for observation! Glad he’s back 😉
That is what gave me the idea :-). Henry the adventurer, Oscar is most territorial so stays close to house and Archie … well he just stays in the house and every now and then wonders into the back garden 🙂
Well, you most certainly gave us a great glimpse of what Henry gets up to!
He sounds like he’s making a lot of excuses to you about why he was ‘forced’ to cross that road you’ve warned him about!
Henry, please take care when you go adventuring, the world isn’t always a safe place.
Hope your cold gets better soon too.
Zena you would think after being run over on that road himself and as a result have a metal plate in his leg that he would stay the right side of the road 😦 . Thank you for wishing me well x
Oh HENRY!! what is with the Blck moggie wanderers…all three black cats we have had have been nawty!! We have Cleo now who does this on our property she has a release collar which she has lost many times due to her being caught by a stick or something and the collar releases….thankgoodness we have 11 acres so if she wanders we can find her pretty quickly, just won’t let her do it in summer due to snakes..lovely video..i’d have afit at the road too..feline shenanigans 😉 hope you feel better soon and kick the cold 🙂
Happy Monday Fozziemum
Why thankyou! tis nearly over….we are all on the opposite sides hahahaha..Henry looks and sounds like Cleo with the complaining hahaaha bless 🙂
OMGoodness, Henry! You were very naughty, and your mom called it correctly – you’re a soggy moggy. Stay out of the road, little buddy. Stay safe.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
He is tucked up in bed for now Cupcake 🙂
Oh Henry you bad boy making your poor Mum with her bad cold come out in the rain to find you!! I bet you were glad to see her and you must promise to be ever so careful with that road…..don’t make your Mum worry about you!!
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
p.s. Miss Michelle – me and my Mom say GET WELL SOON!
Thought you would love the video Pam and Sammy 😉
Hahaha!! Henry you naughty boy. You are like Austin, though the busiest road is the one in front the house, which is only busy at certain times! The longest Austin has been gone is just under 24 hours and that was unusual! I think some blogging friends from over the pond will be freaking at this lol Love your green countryside 🙂
I am prepared for some backlash, however they have to understand I have been brought up to believe cats roam freely outside (Please note I do not have any views on those that keep cats indoors as I know a few moggies that do). I would have such trouble keeping Oscar and Henry in as Oscar is especially territorial and we are experiencing problems with him at the moment when he is in the house. 🙂
It’s the same with Austin. If he couldn’t go out and roam he would be very unhappy, even though at first he insisted I went out with him lol. I think he spent a lot of time outdoors before he was rescued!
Meant to say I totally agree about collars on cats. They can be lethal!
If I had adjustable collars I would be going through one a day on the black moggies LOL
Oh wow! I’ve heard the rain on your umbrella – that was a bad weather! I’m glad the King is back in his castle. Your road looks scary for animals – like ours. I don’t understand why people have always to speed without limits. Sometimes I wish we had still horses instead of cars.
We’re always worried here when one of our cats doesn’t show up as we have a very busy highway in front of our property AND much wildlife [coyotes & rattlesnakes] around.
Best regards from southern Texas,
Pit

“It is in the nature of cats to do a certain amount of unescorted roaming.” – Adlai Stevenson
You best be careful where you wander Henry!
Please Henry, don’t give Mr. Bowie ideas… Great post!
Oh, sweet Henry you really need to not cross that road of speeding cars. We are so happy your Mum found you and walked you back home safely. Hugs and nose kisses
Oh Michelle what a cute video…I have to tell you your accent is lovely & when you called “Henry’ you sounded JUST LIKE MY STEPMOTHER CALLING MY FATHER….(he was going deaf so she would have to call loudly!!)
Like my Father your Henry sure had alot to say for himself…..I am so glad you got the saucy boy safe & sound!!! Your video made my day!!!
Sherri-Ellen & Nylablue xo
Naughty Henry! He’d get on well with our Pippin.
I LOVED this video! And I love it how Henry stops after every few meter to meow, and to check if you’re still there. Hahaha.
Dianda what usually happens is I throw him over my shoulder and he stay there till we get home. He expects it lol. That will be my next video x
