February 2013 – Fur/hair Friend of the month
Why have I changed the title to Fur/hair friend of the month ….
Well Coco the mini pig has kindly informed us moggies that they have hair not fur :-). Did you know that?
Coco the marvellous little piggy who has only recently started sharing his story with many of us here so we thought lets find out a few more things from our new friend 🙂
Pictures please ….
oh this piggy is too cute for words, however words we need to find out more about our friend 🙂
How did Coco came to being in the hairever home?
Cocco was the runt of the litter and was rejected by the sow so Cocco had to leave his home at five weeks old. It can often be to the piglet’s detriment to remain with the sow and siblings if not actually nursing since fighting sometimes occurs. So we took Cocco in at five weeks and made sure he got all the nutrients he needed to stay strong.
Favourite toy
Cocco loves his rooting box which is a box full of plastic balls and treats hidden within. He has to root around and find all the treats. If that counts as a toy, that’s his favourite!
Favourite treat
I’d have to say peanut butter.
Who is Coco’s super hero?
Why Porkie Pig of course 🙂
A huge thank you to Coco and his mum Katie for being our HAIR friend of the month. Go check out Coco the mini pig blog xxx
PS: Have you voted for our pal RUMPY yet??????

Cocco is such a cutie, love him ❤
We love that Cocco too and it is always fun to see what is going to happen next!
Awww, thanks so much guys! Cocco really appreciates the love! He wishes he had soft comfy fur like his pals but his wiry hair (and especially two white hairs on top) adds to his quirky character 🙂 Thanks again!
Oink oink,
Katie and Coccolino the mini pig
I’m glad he found a HAIRever home. But I’m not sure if I could share my home with a mini pig – on one hand they are super cute and piggies are absolutely intelligent – but on the other – he looks not only cute – he looks yummy too to me, so I could be dangerous for a piggy ;o)
We have been following Cocco since he came on the scene and we love him.
Yes we voted for Rumpy.
