Dear Archie, Oscar and Henry:

We are so honored to be featured on your special blog! Here are the answers to the questions that your mum sent to our mom. Of course, I had to answer them all, as Mi-Mi is nowhere to be seen. Typical!!

Purrs from your pal across the pond,

BoBo

1) Full names and why they where picked for you

Our names that we began our lives with are Bowie and Misha. As our mom didn’t give them to us, we aren’t able to tell you why we were “tagged” with them. However, when mom adopted us, my name was changed to BoBo (both B’s are capitalized) because I am her personal clown.

Mom has also changed Misha’s name to Mi-Mi because she is small and fast. She is beautiful, but has a mischievous side to her that cracks mom up. Misha is too serious a name for her, and Mi-Mi fits just right.

2) Any funny habit/ story you may have ( Oscar always arrives at door when mum cooks kitchen)

I have several habits that endear me to mom, but one special one. When mom and I snuggle down into bed at night, she will ask for a kiss and I oblige her by touching my nose to hers.

Mi-Mi, too, has several things that she does to make mom laugh, but I would have to say that the funniest is when she chases the shadow of mom’s wheelchair. (She isn’t too bright!)

3) Which cat throughout history inspires you

My favorite cat throughout history would have to be a cat named Lucky, who later became Morris the Cat, the trademark for 9-Lives Cat Food. He was called Lucky because he was saved from a shelter 20 minutes before he was scheduled to be euthanized. Mom saved me from this final fate, too.

Mi-Mi loves a mystery, as does Mom; so her favorite cat would have to be that great mystery-solving cat, KoKo, from Lillian Jackson Braun’s “The Cat Who…” series.

4) Have you been good kitties for Santa and if so will you get a treat this year

Of course, I will get at least three goodies from Santa because I’m the best kitty…mom always tells me so!

Now Mi-Mi, she’s another story. She is always getting into trouble. Mom will tell her no, but she won’t listen. She just butters her up with that “Who me?” look, and then turns and walks away. NO TREATS FOR MI-MI!
