Well, that was a cat-astrophe
Hello, everyone, the moggies are all asleep after a hard day, er, sleeping…
It’s their Dad here, hoping to clear up some technical stuff and explain what the cat has been going on for the last month or so.
Well, we tried to get all fancy and move to a new WordPress.org site, which Hu-Mom then couldn’t decide if she liked or not and then the Likes didn’t work, and people couldn’t subscribe, and the boys got very upset as they lost some of their favourite furr-friends.
Lots of kind people – and cats, and dogs! – posted on their blogs to let others know where we were.
But tonight the final meltdown happened. Too much tinkering from me and my clumsy paws and suddenly I had managed to delete every blog post ever written, all those on the new blog and all those imported from the old.
I am trying some fancy backup retrieval, but cats and Hu-Mom have decided enough is enough. Everyone wants to go back to wordpress.com and all our furr-friends and Likes and subscribes and no more confusion!
So… if you see about 200 posts uploaded today it’s all the stuff from the last month on the .org site re-uploaded to this website. Where we are now staying!
And the moral of this story is… don’t try to be Top Cat when you couldn’t programme a pudding – MOL!

Hello 3 Moggies!! Nylablue & I found you…whew that was scary!!! I bet you are in the cat house for losing the blogs…..I just screwed up my cat page on WP here so can commiserate with you!!!! Soemtimes working on these sites can be a bit of a challenge…I have 7 years of old blogs on disc….but can’t import them to here….
I sure hope you find the blogs & get things sorted out…..good luck!!!!

We are just glad you all are still here in blogging world. We enjoy the antics of those 3 moggies very much. Computers are like cars. When you hit start it should go, when you need to stop that should be even simpler. Of course, our huMom has been informed that there is more to both cars and computers, even if you couldn’t prove it by her. Best of luck getting everything the way you want it! We’ll be here whatever happens.

YAY!!!! Sorry things didn’t work out with the other site BUT my Mom and I are TERRIBLY happy that we can be reminded to check in with you whenever you post something thanks to the notifications. Mom’s memory isn’t that great anyway (but don’t tell her I said that!). Hopefully you can get things the way you want them….all I know is I’m glad you’re BAAAAACK!
