  1. Yep, they can be jealously guarding whatever they think is theirs, can’t they?
Lovely green garden. I wish we had it as green here as you have. But then, one can’t expect that in a southern Texas summer, can one?
    Best regards,

    • Pit please send some sun over as I am in competition to grow tallest sunflower with member of family and my plants are only 3 ft at the moment :-). The moggies are very attention seeking at the moment and Oscar has brought two birds home dead today. Trouble having so much greenery out the back as it gives Oscar plenty of hiding places 😦

      • I really wish we could exchange some of your rain for the sun here! Talking of rain in GB: wasn’t it rather dry for quite a while recently? I seem to remember that, when we were there for our narrowboat tour last year [http://pitsbilderbuch.wordpress.com/2011/07/24/england-reise-fruhjahr-2011-27/], the preceding Apri had been one of the driest; and that the beginning of this year wasn’t too wet either.
As to sunflowers: maybe you’d want to check on ours: http://pitstexasexpatblog.wordpress.com/2012/05/19/a-sea-of-sunflowers/
        Have agreat weekend,

      • Hi Pit

Stopped by your link to the sunflowers and we are so jealous. We love sunflowers and roses. We have a lot of roses of all colours in our garden, but they are currently at budding stage.

Sunday and you guessed it rain again. We are so fed up now as you are right a couple of months ago we had a week or two of very hot weather and we enjoyed every second. We Brits are now saying that was our summer been and gone :-(.

The only good thing about this rain is that now the hose pipe ban has been lifted.

Hope you are doing something nice in the sun today 🙂

  2. Beautiful garden!

  3. Oh My Cat! Mom is totally in luvluvluv with your garden…she can’t wait to SEE it!!! Still planning on sometime in September…let ya know when it gets firmed up…and Archie…you keep those kids away from the nip my manly cat…not good for yougins’ ya know…MOL

    • Praying we have sunshine so the mums can have tea , Pimms whatever in the garden and we get lots of strokes outside. We will look after your mum Savy and make sure she has lots to tell you when she gets home xxx

  4. Looks like a wonderful place for the cats to enjoy. Complete with fresh catnip plants too, You ROCK!
